Life-changing skills through hospitality training
Nourish is a special journey we share with ‘at risk’ young people aged 16-25. We often see a life-changing transformation as students combine new skills with long-lasting friendships.
The team were delighted to return to teaching a full program in Adelaide, Newcastle and Sydney and proudly watched 50 students graduate with a Certificate II in Kitchen Operations. A full year with a dedicated Youth Worker in each location has lifted our care and support for students past and present to new levels.
New industry partnerships boosted post-program pathways and the transition into employment. Community connections have grown thanks to Nourish Newcastle’s Garden project, which featured regular input from local Aboriginal groups.
